Love the game! Currently I have the feeling I can go on forever, but I have to do some work still so I quit :-) Might still need some balancing. I've got a bunch of Full Energies, Explosive Upgrades, Single Bombs and 9 Bullets, which proves to be quite a deadly combination. How many card slots are there in total btw? 6 as mentioned below by Kyocus?

So, 2x Energy, 2x explosive shot, 2x 9 shot. I died because I accidentally went down to 1 energy while no paying attention.  
I think the difficulty should ramp up more, because nothing was getting away from the edge of the screen.

Quite a good combination indeed. I found out that the single bomb sometimes helps, you can use it quickly to get rid of some frontrunners before setting up a new explosive barrage.

Great gameplay. I'd love to see a "curse" card where it has more power, but you don't get the guidance on where the bullet will go.  :)

Are you seriously releasing a really solid gameplay, interesting, and new  game every week!? This is nuts. Please tell me this is actually a backlog that you're slowly releasing. Or you're actually three developers in a trench coat a team of people. Or this is literally the only thing you do with your time (not just free time, all of it).

But... Seriously, keep it up. I'm continually impressed with your output.

A potentially nice feature for this one would be able to see the state of your overall deck when you're trading your cards - but not being allowed to trade anything but three. Though I do kinda like that "nah, you have to remember/do it by feel", and it keeps the UI less cluttered - I guess sometimes it would just be nice to have a better idea of how balanced your deck currently is.

Haha, thanks so much! It's just me and my free time :) Planning on shifting my focus to weekly "game-sized" updates to dire decks for the next while.

Neat deck-building game! I like the variety of cards. Seems like there’s a good amount of strategies and types of decks you can build to deal with enemies. I only got to level 8, but I had a fun time! Great work on this!

I don't know how I did it but I somehow got to level 23.

Very little nice charming game, wish there was a way to pause and view all of your current cards tho. Otherwise, I’m hooked :D

Lovely mechanic. But I think the learning curve is waaay too steep, I am very curious to build a dynamic deck and use all the cards. But I feel like I can't reach that point because you get overwhelmed with enemies too fast. The amount of enemies is going up too fast I think. And it feels a bit frustrating that it involves a lot of waiting and that I have no influence on how fast my energy regenerates. I do think it has a lot of potential!! Very creative <3

I am enjoying this game so much I love it!

Fun! Your next attacks shoots bombs + regenerate your energy to full + shoot 4 bullets x times is a bit too powerful. The cards that don't cost energy are just very strong in general because you redraw immediately. 

I don't love the cooldown system. Having to wait to play cards feels bad. I'm not sure that cooldowns are even necessary when you already have to wait to restore your energy. Feels like you could remove energy or remove cooldowns and the game would be more fun.

Those are not cooldowns, that is you restoring energy! If you look at the top right, you will see a number of dots, and that is how much the cards cost. If you don't have enough energy, you have to wait until you do. Hence the restore energy card. 

oh that makes a lot more sense. i understood how energy works, i just thought there was also a cooldown mechanic happening. 

seems like it would be better to just have that radial energy restoration display over your energy tracker, rather than on each individual card. as it exists now, it's a very confusing ui

Hm, I find it quite intuitive, vs. having to look back and forth between the energy tracker and the energy cost of all four cards in real time which sounds unnecessarily difficult. But interesting to hear another take on it. The ui is still a work in progress.

This is amazing! The gameplay flow is great, concept executed masterfully. I'm hooked!!! :D
