dammit i still thought i had some time to relax before people caught up. i could be playing silksong instead of this game
Found another funny little bug, at the beginning you can walk all the way to the right underneath the time. After 2-3 seconds, the clock will rise up and then come down on you, killing you. Apologies if this has been mentioned already, thought it was kinda funny!

What are you on about? Read my comment below the image - I recognized the sub-40 overall time and mentioned I got close to the record, which appears to be 2.64? I'd say .15 seconds is pretty close no? Everyone can still see your accomplishments, relax. Just thought I'd add my own to the fun, not pretending this is the best.
honestly didn't even read the text besides the image before you replied, i thought that the "see rest" was just the remainder of the image and didn't bother
also the full explanation for my fast times have been stated multiple times previously, a glitch that lets you double jump without the upgrade lets the early levels go much faster by going through the saws, and although it is meaningless after stage 2 (assuming you got higher jump allowing you to go through the saws even without speed boosts), it makes those stages much faster. as for the build for both achievements, it's super jump x2 and speed x5 (the optimal build is speed x6 as i believe, but i keep fumbling it)
and the rest is me just goofing with myself

Practice, and using the upgrades to your advantage. If you get the super boost twice, you can angle your first boost jump to end up right in the middle cross through area. Then if you have a Z turbo + invincibility while using it, you can do the boost, z through the middle, hop down, and z across the finish line in under 4 seconds. Then if you get move faster and fall faster you can end up sub-3
i have stated my personal method so many times, but if you want an easier one higher jump x2 + dash x2, and that's all you need

i discovered a glitch where if you tap jump a second time (i use pc, might only work there), you gain a small double jump, allowing you to go through the sawblades on round 1
I did it on first try! fun game, it looked generic at furst but more fun and challenging as attemps and upgrades advanced!

If you go midair for whatever reason, such as jumping, falling, or super jumping, you can press a button to jump quickly and do a double jump, even without the upgrade. Not very useful, unless you forget to jump on the ledge before the second half.
Getting closer to sub-2.5. Not even optimized upgrades.

i just realized you can't get dash so just no dash, speed x6 (there are other upgrades yknow, i've only gotten it once) and super jump x2

Extremely fun! Although I feel it would be even better in my opinion if the timer never reset and you had to complete a set amount of loops in 5 minutes. That way you would get a lot more value from checkpoint and not messing up at the start!
I disagree. The entire game can be beaten in under 2 minutes incredibly easily.
The loop amount can be like, 25?

move forward for 0.1 seconds at the start, jump, jump again, go to the edge of the single-block platform, jump onto the higher-elevated part of the next, jump, jump past the spike onto the next platform, hug all the walls 'till the moving spikes, wait until the millisecond they start going down on the bottom row, book it

Round 1: Just wing it.
Round 2: Take Double Jump, Super Jump, or Dash. Double Jump is the fastest, but will slow down the setup for the strat. Super Jump is imo, best in the long run.
Round 3: Take Super Jump or Dash depending on which you don't have, if you took Double Jump Super Jump is better.
Round 4: Take Higher Super Jump or Invincibility Dash. Invincibility will make going through sawblades easier, but it's not required.
Round 5: Take the one you didn't last round. Do not go to Highest Jump.
Round 6-10: Take whatever you want; throughout these rounds you should get 3-5 seconds on average, I'd recommend getting movement speed to "move even faster", and not getting "move EVEN faster" and above.
Edit: There's 9 rounds, not 10.
